We were married in 2010 and started growing our family immediately. Four kids later (October 2017), we had outgrown our first home......so the search began. We knew that we wanted to be close enough to each of our families so we were not willing to venture off too far and we knew we wanted land. There was a place that we had our eye on but it wasn't for sale. Luckily, we knew the owner of the land and sat and talked with her a while. The first time we met, it was obviously not God's timing because there was just no way it was going to work out financially.
This particular piece of land was PERFECT in our eyes and I was determined not to give up. I believe God opens doors and closes them and then works things out in HIS time. Something that many people don't know is that I rode to this land multiple times during a 8-10 month time span. I would just sit there on the that old, dirt, farm road and pray for God to open the door for us to make this dream become a reality.
In December of 2108, this piece of land became ours!
